Our development product line includes a unique "application repository" that stores and manages all the artifacts contained in an IT system, across technology and platform boundaries and independent of development tools. The Nebula approach to product release management ensures change control and integrity of the system as it is developed and promoted into production. It does this by enforcing a best practice workflow approach to the development life cycle.

Large-scale IT development projects are highly complex with dozens of developers working together in the same environment. The development challenge comes when attempting to manage the artifacts involved and their interdependencies. The configuration, building, and integration of these artifacts into an application release is especially challenging because of the need to cross technology boundaries. Often a requirement for parallel development exists, along with the requirement of retrofitting changes between releases.

Nebula is a release management facilitator, a life cycle management tool. It enforces a workflow approach to the development life-cycle through a controlled, proven process. Nebula can manage all components in an application across the enterprise, not only those particular to one vendor tool or platform. It is an open, scalable, object repository with full versioning capabilities that supports team development for parallel application releases.
